Estate Sale Management in the Wenatchee Valley
Full service estate sales handled with care, from the first walk through to the last donation run, so your family can focus on each other instead of a houseful of decisions.
Most families who call us are in the middle of something hard. A parent has passed away, a spouse is moving into assisted living, or a house that held forty years of life has to be emptied by a closing date. There is no good week for that. Our job is to carry the logistics so you only have to make the decisions that truly belong to you.
It starts with a free, unhurried consultation at the home anywhere in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Cashmere, Leavenworth, Malaga, Orondo, or Waterville. We walk the house together, you tell us what has already been claimed by family, and we tag keepsakes, documents, photographs, and jewelry to be set aside before anything is priced. Then we lay out a plain schedule and what our fee looks like, in writing, before any work begins.
From there we take over. We sort the home room by room, research and price items so they sell fairly rather than cheaply, and stage the house so buyers can move through it easily. We advertise locally and online where Wenatchee Valley buyers actually look, put up signage, staff the sale days, manage the crowd, and handle payment. You are welcome to be there, and you are just as welcome to stay away.
After the sale, the house does not become your problem again. Unsold usable goods go to local charities with receipts available for the estate, resale worthy furniture can be consigned or held for a second sale, recyclables are separated, and the small remainder goes to the transfer station. We finish with a broom swept home ready for a realtor, a buyer, or a landlord.
Throughout the process you have one point of contact, Cord Brown, who lives here in East Wenatchee. We keep updates short and honest, we do not disappear between calls, and we understand that the boxes we are sorting are somebody's life. Everything found in the home stays private, and we are fully insured while we work in it.

AfterFrequently asked questions
- How does an estate sale work in the Wenatchee Valley?
- We meet at the home for a free consultation, then handle the whole sale: sorting room by room, researching and pricing items, staging the house, advertising locally and online, staffing the sale days, handling payments, and cleaning out whatever is left afterward. You have one point of contact the entire time and you are never asked to do the heavy work yourself.
- How long does the process take from first call to finished house?
- Most estate sales run two to four weeks start to finish. Sorting, pricing, and staging usually take one to two weeks depending on the size of the home, the sale itself is typically a weekend, and cleanout and donation runs happen in the days right after. If you are working against a closing date or a facility move in date, tell us and we will build the schedule around it.
- What happens to the items that do not sell?
- Nothing is left for the family to deal with. Anything usable goes to local Wenatchee Valley charities and we can provide donation receipts. Furniture and household goods with resale value can be moved to a second sale or consigned. Metal and cardboard get recycled and the small remainder goes to the transfer station. We hand the home back broom swept and ready for listing, closing, or a new tenant.
- Can we set aside keepsakes and family items first?
- Always, and we encourage it. Before anything is priced we walk the home with you and tag what stays in the family. If you are not sure about an item, it goes in the hold category, not the sale. Paperwork, photographs, jewelry, military items, and documents are set aside for you rather than sold.
- Do you handle sales after a death or a move to assisted living?
- That is most of this work. We are used to working with executors, family members out of state, senior move coordinators, and realtors, and we go at the pace the family needs. We keep communication clear and simple so you are not managing a project on top of everything else you are carrying.
We can take this part off your plate.
Call or send a note whenever you are ready. The first conversation is free and there is no pressure to schedule anything.
